I've hiked 7,000 miles on long-distance trails and spent 365+ days sleeping beneath every kind of sky. 

I started photographing these hikes and found that the fleeting, sublime moments-in-between made the effort worthwhile and have brought that philosophy to my photography.

I am the copywriter for Bedrock Sandals and a gear journalist for Field Mag. I also manage communications for the supernatural thru-hiking podcast, "Monarch". When not typing away, you can usually find me birding, exploring ruins in Cedar Mesa, or skiing some weird desert mountains.
